This is a special salad with pomelo. I not so like to eat pomelo, perhap this is why I feel that the pomelo is bitter. However the sauce and nut taste like rojak from Penang.

槟城美食——叻沙 (Penang food - Laksa)

Laksa (Chinese: 叻沙; Pinyin: lèshā) is a popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture, which is a merger of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia and Singapore. The name may originate from the Sanskrit word laksha (लक्ष), meaning "many" and referring to the soup's many ingredients; the word is also the origin of the Hindi term lakh.

If you would like to have a tasty Laksa at Penang, you may consider to have it here, Jalan Teh Cheoik Sah at Bukit Mertajam. It have great soup, which is concentrated enough.

叻沙又稱喇沙,是在新加坡和馬來西亞存在的峇峇文化(即華人馬來人混合)的地道食品,通常用作麵條的湯底。它的名字可能源自于梵文的字 laksha,意思是“多”,因为汤的材料很多。那个字也源自于印度的字,Lakh。

如果你想要在槟城享有一碗好吃的叻沙,你可以考虑在大山脚的鄭石三路享有。它的汤真的很棒!有够浓!(有够味道)
